Gospel Outreach

The Gospel Outreach Department consists of the Mission Grants Committee, the Mission Servants Committee, the Scholarship Committee, and Heart to Heart Sisters Committee. Each committee exists to engage, encourage, and equip women to share their faith in Jesus Christ, their loving Savior, with people of their communities and the world.

.Mission Grants

The Mission Grants Committee promotes mission awareness, participation, and support for LWML RMD mission grants. The committee also evaluates and presents a list of mission grants for each biennium.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Rocky Mountain District has established scholarships for those going into full time professional church work for the LCMS. We want to encourage students to pursue full time church work. We need qualified professionals in our churches and schools. We spread that Good News by supporting those who do enter full time church service.

Mission Servants

Serving God, Serving Others, Serving Together—our encouragement to you therefore is: As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace…in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen (1 Peter 4:10–11). We consecrate to our Savior and our HANDS to work for Him…We say the LWML Pledge at many of our LWML events and activities. Those words are really appropriate for the Mission Servants Committee. We are willing servants of the Lord.

Heart to Heart Sisters

The purpose of the Heart to Heart Sisters Committee is to: motivate, equip, challenge, and provide mentoring opportunities within the LWML for women of diverse ethnic groups to serve the church, participate in LWML, witness to the world, and grow in relationships.
